Amsterdam has some wonderful activities in store, so grab your agenda and mark the following events:
Amsterdam Coffee Festival
The first few days of March will be all about coffee in Amsterdam. This festival is the ultimate tribute to the Dutch and Flemish coffee scene. Test your coffee knowledge and taste over hundred different mouth-watering coffee flavors. Go to espresso martini parties to latte art or a mindful coffee tasting experience. New this year is the art of roasting specialty coffee competition. The world’s 24 most reputable coffee roasters will compete over three days to earn the Roast Masters title. Other than that, you can enjoy coffee cocktails, delicious street food, coffee art and live music as well.

HISWA Amsterdam Boat Show
The HISWA is the biggest event of the Netherlands when it comes to water sports. The event is designed for anyone with interests in watersports or boats, so plenty to discover for the little ones as well. Marvel at boats up to 10 meters in length and explore the latest trends, innovations and gadgets.

International Women’s Day
Do you want to learn from power woman all over the world who make a difference in their area of expertise? The 6th of March, the Harper’s Bazaar organizes the International Woman’s Day Summit 2019 in collaboration with BrandedU at ‘De Hallen Studio’s’. Learn about personal branding, female leadership and core competences, and fearless ambition! It will be a dazzling and inspiring day which include interviews, talks, panel discussions and encounters. A selection of the inspirators are: Khadija Arib (Chairwoman of the Second Chamber from the Dutch Parliament), Annelies Valk (Senior Global Brand Strategy Manager at Vodafone) and Hendrikje Crebolder (Director Development & Media at Rijksmuseum). So, get inspired, discover new career perspectives and build valuable connections through this event.
Next to this our very own Pulitzer’s bar is giving nique talents a stage during our event Turning Tables. This event celebrates all ladies around the globe, and especially the leading ladies from the bartending industry. Female talents as Helena Henneveld from Ketel One (Benelux) and others will join our Pulitzer’s Bar ladies on this night to serve two versions of single ingredient cocktails.

Amsterdam Cocktail Week
Cocktail lovers be aware! This year’s cocktail week is just around the corner. During this week, Amsterdam’s 45 best bars will introduce you to the art of cocktails. With the help of a customized city map, you are able to discover the city’s finest bars. All participating bars will serve one alcoholic and one non-alcoholic cocktail. Our own award-winning Best Hotel Bar: Pulitzer’s Bar will be all about Tini Martini’s. Joining this tiniest of movements with massively miniature martinis: Giorgio Bargiani of The Connaught Bar (#5 Worlds Best Bars) and renowned martini maestro and top bartender Alessandro Palazzi. On Tuesday, Bargiani will serve up his petite signatures. On Wednesday, Palazzi follows his great example with tiny tipples. So, get ready to shake things up by visiting the Amsterdam Cocktail Week!
