It’s all about design in October

October has arrived and with that comes the fall season. The days become shorter and the nights longer. That is why October is the perfect moment to restyle your interior and make it cosy at home. Pulitzer’s interior designer, Jacu Strauss, knows like no other how design can bring up different emotions and tells a story in every aspect. So, without further ado, we would like to share our tips to create a warm and comfy home.

Interior smells
What is it about these places that always make you feel welcome? Exactly – the beautiful scent that lingers in the hallways. Get a room spray or a scented candle that brings you that autumnal feel. Go all the way with an elegant tray to display pretty perfume bottles, face oils and scented soaps.

Comfy seating
In the autumn months, families come together to have festive dinners. A comfortable chair is an essential element to make these evenings a success. We fell in love with the elegant pine green dining chairs from Gubi. We placed them at Pause at Pulitzer, so our guests can enjoy their coffee breaks, light lunch, or glass of wine to the fullest. This extraordinary piece combines new design and architecture trends and will be the right choice for a modern and contemporary dining room.

The kitchen essentials
The kitchen is the place where all the magic happens. Especially in this cold and stormy month, we like to spend our Sunday afternoons in the kitchen. Even if it is to bake our favorite gingerbread cookies or make our pumpkin spiced lattes. The best way to enjoy these are with the perfect tableware, right? When strolling through the 9 streets of Amsterdam, make sure to visit Pluk Amsterdam! Besides the delicious coffees and healthy foods, they have the dreamiest mugs and other ceramics to get in those cosy autumn vibes.

And did you know you can re-create your Pulitzer experience at home? We picked a few of our favorite design items and all you have to do is pick yours!

We hope you got inspired by these tips, so you can get al cosy and warmed up this October.
